Donations

The Tides Restaurant is proud to be part of the local community and we are steadfast in supporting local organizations whose efforts benefit the Southern Maryland Community in the most effective way possible.  With so many local organizations contributing positively to the community, we have to be selective with consideration to organizations to which we donate. Therefore, we do not donate to sports teams, volunteer appreciation gifts, churches, etc…

We appreciate the contribution all these organizations give to the community, however, our philanthropy is used for those organizations who we feel have the most direct impact.

Our 2010 budget has been fully funded and we are now taking considerations for 2011’s budget.

2010’s Organizations

American Cancer Society, St Mary’s Hospital Foundation, Tap’s Community Brotherhood, St. Mary’s Hospice, Literacy Council, Patuxent Habitat for Humanity, River Concert Series

To be considered for 2011’s budget, please forward the following in an email:

Your state and federal tax id number

A copy of your mission statement

Estimated breakdown of where the revenue produced from the donations will go

If a previous recipient of a donation from us – a previous years program guide with our name and information listed – If not, an example listing
